Patent award for SORL

We are happy to share SORL Auto Parts, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive brake systems as well as other key safety-related auto parts, announced that its design for an electric air compressor recently won the "2017 Excellent State Patent Award". The State Patent Award is the highest government Patent Award in China and is the only government award recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization ("WIPO").

Mr. Xiaoping Zhang, SORL's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are excited that our commitment to R&D brought us this highest recognition and prestigious award. The Chinese industrial manufacturing sector is currently experiencing a historical transition from made-in-China to designed-in-China. We are proud of being part of that movement of redefining competitiveness not only at home, but also in the global market."

SORL has obtained approximately 600 patents in China and abroad. In addition, SORL contributed its design expertise to the Chinese government for the establishment of a national standard for braking systems. Electric air compressor products are one of SORL's best sellers in China and SORL controls a very high market share in both the OEM and aftermarket segments.
